Adapted class

I am in intro to adapted P.A. and it is an interesting class. We work with kids every monday who are disabled in some way. I think it is interesting that besides one of the children who has down syndrome, it is almost impossible to tell any of these children are disabled. When most people think about disabilities they think of something noticeable and obvious, however this is not always the case. I think that this fact alone should prove that no matter how severe the disability is, deep down they are still just regular human beings

I agree with you that even if somene has a disability, they are still regular people. I think I will be taking that class next year, most likely in the fall. Is there more than 1 teacher who teaches it? I will ask you questions about the class when it comes closer to scheduling time. Hmm, well I think thats all I have to say, I will see later!

I think you have a great attitude when it comes to working with the disabled. It takes people like you to help those in need. I to will be helping these children next semester and i am looking forward to giving my time. I also agree with you when you say these children are regular people. They just might need a little help now and then. I hope all goes well for you in this class.

I completely agree. I haven't taken the class but am really looking foward to it. In high school I worked with a grup of austistic children and they were the best thing ever. It took them a while to get use to me but then they started talking to me and calling me by name. They are very normal people when you get to know them, some are even very intelligent.
