Pocket PC

I absolutely hated doing the Pocket PC assignment. It tokk way too much time working with a partner and getting everything checked off individually. I just did not enjoy it at all. I hope that I get everything else in this class done since I was planning to work on it instead of doing the checklist. I most likely will never own a pocket PC and if I do I will then take the time to figure out how to work it.

ouchies

So my eye was beat red when I woke up this morning. I could barely open it and it hurt extremely bad. I had no idea what was wrong and I went to the mini convention anyways. I could barely see especially when I got close to sunlight. I went to the health center the first break I got. I found out that I have a severe abrasion in my left eye kind of like a cut and I cannot wear my contacts for a whole week. Plus I have to deal with th pain and putting drops into my eye which hurts really bad. I can't wait till it gets better!

car borrowing

My brother goes to SRU also. He has gone through many cars due to wrecking and accidents. Some of them were not his fault in his defense, like the time he was driving home from work at 5am and a horse ran out in front of him. However, my brother is a crazy driver and i am terrified to ride with him. he is epeleptic and extremely diagnosed with ADHD. This makes him not pay attention or get distracted easily. This weekend he wants to borrow my car since I just had it inspected and got all new brakes, tires, and other things. his car has bad tires and he does not want to drive to Pittsburgh with it. Im a little nervous about this, but I said yes. I want to be a good sister, but I really hope my car makes it home ok.

Efolio

AHHHH... I just now realize that the efolio assignment is due next tuesday. I knew it was coming up, but I did not know that it was so soon. With all of my other projects I am so far behind. I have yet to start to efolio, and Im starting to get nervous. I only have one week to do it and I have so much going on this week. I hate being unorganized. I hope I can get everything done!

Volunteer activities

So, I understand that teachers want us to get involved in volunteer activities. I also think it is a good idea to be active within your major. However, volunteer is volunteer meaning you do it because you want to and not because you have to. For several of my classes this year at least three volunteer activities are mandatory, and it is really bugging me. I think that if a teacher requires you to take time out of class to do a requirement then they should owe you that time. I dont think volunteering for outside of class time activities should be mandatory. That creates so much more stress for the student who now has to balance work schedules, other classes, and other activities. It is sometimes very hard to find time to do these without having to give something else up. I personally am having a very hard time signing up for these "volunteer" task due to my class schedule. I have seven activities I have to volunteer for and I have no time at all.

College of Ed

So it is already April 1st and I am supposed to apply to the college of ed by today. The problem is i do not feel my advisor is very good or knows what they are talking about and I kind of feel mis led. I am waiting to recieve my praxis score back which I took about 3 weeks ago. it takes about 3 weeks so they should be coming anyday. I cannot get deied to the college of ed because I need to take 352 in the fall so I want to wait to apply til the scores come in. I really hope that if I turn them in a little late it will be okay. Phhheeewww the stresses of college.
